David Damrosch to Speak at the University of Leeds

David Damrosch, Ernest Bernbaum Professor of Comparative Literature at Harvard University and past President of the American Comparative Literature Association, will be delivering a lecture entitled ‘Tupi or Not Tupi: The World in the Nation’ at the University of Leeds on 5 March 2014, Wednesday at 5:15 pm at the Conference Auditorium. 

Damrosch Lecture Poster ImageThe lecture will be followed by a roundtable discussion with Professor Paolo de Medeiros (University of Warwick), Professor Wen-chin Ouyang (SOAS, University of London) and Dr Elinor Shaffer (Clare Hall, University of Cambridge and School of Advanced Study, University of London), and a reading by the Argentinian writer Fernando Sorrentino.

The reception sponsored by the BCLA will conclude the evening. The lecture is open to the public.
