The first of our new BCLA Postgraduate Bursaries has been awarded to Kaitlin Staudt (University of Oxford). Kaitlin will use the BCLA bursary to attend the International Summer School on Multiple Modernities at the University of Göttingen in early September where she will present her research on fashion as a structure for feminine historiography in the novels of Virginia Woolf and Halide Edib Adıvar. We congratulate Kaitlin for her success.
Designed to support attendance at conferences or research trips by BCLA members registered for a postgraduate degree, the BCLA Postgraduate Bursaries are awarded twice a year, with application deadlines of 31 May and 30 November, 12 noon UK time.
