We are pleased to announce that the BCLA will be hosting a Postgraduate Reception on 19 March 2015, Thursday at the University of Oxford. Following last year’s reception at the University of Leeds, this is the second time a BCLA Postgraduate Reception is held outside of London, and we do hope to keep this a regular event so that every year the autumn receptions are held at an institution based in London and the spring receptions are held elsewhere in the UK.
This spring, the BCLA Postgraduate Reception is organised in collaboration with the Oxford Comparative Criticism & Translation Programme based at the Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities and St. Anne’s College. The Spring Postgraduate Reception will take place in conjunction with the workshop on Auto-exoticism at the Radcliffe Humanities Building, Colin Matthew Room between 10:45am-7:00pm.
All are welcome. Admission is free of charge; however, as seating will be limited, please let us know.

Our Postgraduate Receptions are friendly seminars that offer postgraduates working in Comparative Literature and related fields the opportunity to present their work to peers and academics and are followed by a wine reception.
