Departmental Membership

Departmental membership ensures that departments are further linked to key networks and events in the field in the United Kingdom, and to related societies internationally in Europe. All University and Higher Education departments with a teaching and research interest in comparative literature and its related fields are welcome to apply.

The fees for departmental membership are adjusted to the size and scope of each department, its programmes and staff cohort. There is no online form to complete: to apply for this category of membership, departments are invited to contact the BCLA with a list of staff members and postgraduates they would like to be eligible. A 20% discount will then be applied across the board, of £36.00 per annum for full-time members of staff, £20.00 per annum for part-time members of staff and per annum £14.00 for post graduate members, and the department invoiced by the BCLA. Please contact the Treasurer at treasurer@bcla.org for more information.
