Summer School of the Institute for World Literature, University of Harvard to be held at the University of Belgrade 6 – 30 July 2020, has been moved online

The Annual Institute for Word Literature (IWL) Summer School originally schedule from 6 – 30 July 2020 at the University of Belgrade, will now be held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The four-week programme includes a total of twelve two-week seminars taught by leading names in world literature today, together with guest lectures and the opportunity for participants to share their work in colloquia. In addition to attending seminars, the participants will give a paper or present a work in progress, or a recent project, within one of twelve colloquia groups organised around twelve themes: World Literature and Production, Wolrd Literature and Circulation, World Literature and Translation, Postcolonialism and World Literature, World Cinema and world Literature, Premodern Literature and world Literature, Politics, poetics and world Literature. meeting once each week with their peers under the leadership of one of the University’s postdoc or faculty participants, they have the opportunity to share their work and receive feedback from scholars all over the world working on similar topics and develop new projects.
